Fighting for Justice series combines vintages found papers with painted papers and graphic designs. The pieces represent getting into “good trouble” for making lasting change to save those who are not immortal.

Trying to strike the balance for equality is an elusive process. The reasoning and righteousness for treating all humans equally is in steadfast competition against the fight for sameness, unjustified hate, continued control, and the illusion of superiority. But there is hope for change. Two steps forward, one step back.

This small artist book was constructed from one folded collage and cover. It features the famous Picasso quote along with snippets from the artist’s work entitled, “Minstaur with a Javelin” from 1934.
